Shirley Deane Owens

Shirley Deane Mills Owens, 66, Hiseville, died Sunday, August 29, 2004 , at the T.J. Samson Community Hospital . A native of Barren County , she was the daughter of the late Hazel Jewell Ball and Arthur Lee Mills. She was a retired nurse at Caverna Hospital and a member of the Rock SpringBaptist Church .
Survivors include her husband, Rondel; one granddaughter, Lindsey Paige Thomas of Hiseville; her son-in-law, Roger Thomas of Hiseville; two brothers, Rodney Mills and Billy Mills of Hiseville; four nieces, Tonya Bright of Canmer, Shellye Russell of Horse Cave , Wendy Gibson of Edmontonand Brandy Mills of Center; several cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Rhonda Owens Thomas.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 1, 2004, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Hiseville Cemetery. Friends may call after 4:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
