Donald Wayne Morgan, 69, of Glasgow died Friday, March 18, 2005 at his residence. He was the son of the late Sammy Clifton Morgan and Mary Ruth Harper Morgan. He was retired from MCI long distance, recently had been attending Peter’s Creek Baptist Church and a veteran of the Korean War.
He is survived by his wife Jacqueline Barton Morgan; one daughter Lisa Mitchell Bergen; five sons: Kevin Morgan, Steve Morgan, Grant Morgan, Greg Morgan and Jason Morgan; two stepchildren: Krystal Sullivan and Kelby Sullivan; eleven grandchildren: Taylor Morgan, Corey Pollard, Tara Morgan, Meghan Morgan, Brittany Morgan, Jacob Morgan, Ben Morgan, Emily Baker-King, Eleri Dye, Chad White and Chelsey Bragg; one brother A. J. Morgan and his wife Wilma B.; four sisters: Dorothy Holmes, Virginia Merger, Jeanett Jefferies and her husband Ola J. and Drewcilla Cowles and her husband Rick; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 3:00 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home. DAV Chapter 20 will provide military honors at the cemetery.
