George P. Keesee

George P. Keesee, 86, Glasgow, died Saturday, July 16, 2005, at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. A native of Erin, Tennessee, he was a son of the late George and Mable Skelton Keesee. He was a retired cook at Neville’s Restaurant in Park City and a veteran of WW II, having served with the United States Army.
Survivors include three brothers, William Keesee of Tullahoma, TN, Milton Keesee of Nashville, and Daniel Keesee and his wife, Jesse, of Erin, TN; three Godchildren, Cymanthia Austin, Christle Austin and Peggy Austin of Glasgow; one step-son, Morris Campbell and his wife, Mary Francis, of Glasgow; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, step-grandchildren and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Earie Dee Austin Campbell Keesee, and two brothers, Charlie Keesee and Robert Keesee.
Funeral services will be held 12 noon Wednesday, July 20, 2005, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home. Burial, with military honors provided by Glasgow Chapter 20 DAV, will be in the Barber Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. The family will receive visitors after 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
