Bessie Lou Lane, 71, Lucas, died Sunday, December 18, 2005, in Glasgow. A native of Barren County, she was a daughter of the late Eula Beatrice Smith and James D. Lane.
Survivors include two sisters, Diane Estes and Kaye Heers both of Glasgow; two brothers, Bill Lane of Lexington and Clyde Lane of Glasgow; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Joe Lane.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 21, 2005, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Friends may call after 5:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
