George Robert Glass, 78 of Glasgow died Wednesday, January 03, 2007 at his residence. He was the son of the Joe Glass and Dellie Katherine Huff Glass. He was a member of Lick Branch Church.
He is survived by his wife Mary Thomas Glass; one daughter: Diane McCawley and her husband Edgar of Glasgow; two step-sons: Ricky Meek and his wife Gayle of Glasgow and Charles Meek of Mesa, Arizona; one step-daughter: Paula Compton and her husband Marvin of Mesa, Arizona; one niece: Brenda Taylor and her husband Doug of Glasgow; ten grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; special care giver: Jean Branham.
He was preceded in death by his first wife Mary Jennings Glass and his sister Lucille Nichols.
Funeral will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with Bro. Randal Gray and Bro Junior Huff officiating. Burial will be in the Lick Branch Cemetery. Visitation will be after 11:00 A. M. Saturday at the funeral home.
