Helen Belle Huff Thomas, 87, of Glasgow, died Sunday, September 17, 2006 at the Metcalfe County Nursing Home. She was the daughter of the late Will Huff and Letha Patrick Huff. She was a member of the Brotherhood Freewill Baptist Church and retired from Handmacher.
She is survived by two daughters: Mary Glass and her husband George of Glasgow and Louise Evans and her husband Bill of Princeton, KY; six grandchildren: Ricky Meek, Diane McCawley, Paula Compton, Charles Meek, Teresa Kidd and Billy Evans; fourteen great- grandchildren; ten great- great-grandchildren; one brother-in-law: Dick Thomas of Glasgow.
She was preceded in death by her husband Walter Thomas; one great-granddaughter: Kimberly Meek; three brothers and three sisters.
Funeral will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with Bro. Andy Patterson officiating. Burial will be in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 12 noon on Tuesday at the funeral home.
