Ella Marie Davis, 51, Glasgow, died Thursday, March 01, 2007, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville. A daughter of Katherine Coomer Fields Taylor and the late James T. Fields, she was a homemaker and a member of the Samson Street Church of God.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Paul Davis; her children, Preston Emberton, Melissa Smith, Joseph O’Brien, Christopher O’Brien, Wanda McIntire, Paula Shuck, Paul Davis, Jr. and Jimmy Davis; four sisters, Louise Simmons, Nettie Fields, Linda Cline and Patricia Fancher; five brothers, James, Mitchell, Jerry, Robert and John Fields; 17 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by one grandson and two great-grandsons.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 4, 2007, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Foundation Cemetery. Visitation will be after 5:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
