Nellie Mae Wren, 83, Glasgow, died Thursday, November 15, 2007, at the Glenview Healthcare Center. A daughter of the late Harvey and Bertha Sanders Faulkner, she was a homemaker and a member of St. Helen Catholic Church.
Survivors include four daughters, Norma Wheeler, Pat Nunn and Shelia Wren all of Glasgow and Betty Lawson of Lebanon; five sons, Darryl Wren of Louisville, Johnny Wren of Vine Grove, Howard Wren of Elizabethtown, Michael Wren and Ronnie Wren of Glasgow; twenty seven grandchildren; thirty seven great-grandchildren; three sisters Rosalyn Otis, Martha Basham of Louisville and Mayola Williams of Bardstown; one brother Leonard Faulkner of Louisville.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Johnnie Wren; one daughter Sharon Mitchell; a grandson, Tony Medley; two sisters, Evelyn Culver and Angela Thornsbury; four brothers, Harold Dean Faulkner, Harvey Faulkner, Jr., Daniel Faulkner and James Faulkner; one great-granddaughter, Nicollette Barbette Bunch.
Funeral services will be held 10:15 a.m. Monday, November 19, 2007 at St. Helen Catholic Church with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Friends may call after 10:00 a.m. Sunday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home.
