Jessie Thomas (J. T.) Sneed, 65, Louisville, died Wednesday, July 23, 2008, at the Hosparus Inpatient Pavilion in Louisville. The Barren County native was a son of the late Earleen Smith and Millard Wesley Sneed. He was retired mechanic at Jim Cooke Buick in Louisville.
Survivors include two daughters, LaFritta Duff and Tracey Daunhauer; four grandchildren, Jeffrey Duff, Jr. and wife, Christy, Joshua Duff, and Krystal Daunhauer all of Louisville and Jeremy Thornton of Glasgow; the children’s mother, Carolyn Gaddie; three sisters, Buena Kinslow of Red Cross, Clarice Buckingham of Louisville and Nancy Renfro of Indianapolis.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Glenn Sneed and Floyd Sneed, and one sister, Lorene Sneed, all of Glasgow.
Graveside services will be held 4:00 p.m. Saturday, July 26, 2008, at the Union # 2 Cemetery. Visitation will be from 8:00 a.m. Saturday until time for services at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home.
