Roger Duke, 73, Edmonton, died Monday, January 19, 2009, at the NHC Health Care Center. A native of Metcalfe County, he was a son of the late Roberta Runyon and John Fred Duke and was a retired farmer.
Survivors include one brother, Charles Nelson Duke and his wife, Marie, of Louisville; one sister, Maxine Croft and her husband, George, of Glasgow; one nephew, Dean Duke; three nieces, Patty Rawlings, Brenda Cook and Linda McCoy.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Anna Katherine Duke and two brothers, Ralph Duke and Harold Duke.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, January 22, 2009, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
