Libby Brownfield

Elizabeth K. “Libby” Brownfield, 78, Glasgow, died Friday, May 15, 2009, at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. A daughter of the late Christine Smith and Ellis Redford Church, she was a homemaker.
Survivors include one son, Tony Brownfield and his wife, Donna, of Glasgow; one granddaughter, Kara Perkins and husband, Robbie; two grandsons, Andy Brownfield and his fiancé, Chelsea Harbert, and Ben Brownfield all of Glasgow; two sisters, Louise Ralston of Louisville and Imogene Davis of New Albany, IN; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Brownfield and one brother, W. T. Church.
Graveside services will be held 12 noon Monday at the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are under the direction of the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home.
