Timothy A. Payne
January 31, 1976 ~ January 7, 2010
Timothy Alan Payne, 33, Mt. Hermon, died Thursday, January 7, 2010, at the Monroe County Medical Center. A native of Barren County, he was the son of Patricia Cole Payne and the late Bernice Wilson Payne. He was a truck driver and a member of the Fairview Baptist Church at Jeffrey.
Survivors include his wife, Crystal; one son, Gavin Wilson Payne; his mother, Patty Cole Payne of Glasgow; his father-in-law, Allen S. Huff of Tompkinsville; a brother-in-law, Michael Huff of Tompkinsville; three uncles, Ed Cornwell of Tompkinsville, Stanley Cole of Austin and Grover Reid Cole of Glasgow; two aunts, Gladys Birge and Janet Gosnell of Glasgow.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
My thoughts and prayers go out to timmys family I always thought a lot of tim. I have’nt seen him in afew years but often thought about all the good times we had down on the creek.I know tim is in a good place with his dad and cousin Andy Cole. If there is any thing I can do please let me know. Tim Payne will be missed very much and never forgotten.
I never got to know Timmy, but I do call his wife, Crystal, a friend. My heart absolutely breaks for her. I know she truely loved him, and that Timmy and Gavin were her whole world. I will be there for you, Crystal, and if there is anything at all you need from me just ask.
Crystal, I am so truly sorry, my thoughts and prayers are with you and the rest of the family. I met both of you durin a time where we all were lookin for something in our life well let me just say we were tryin to “Keep it Simple”. And Crystal honey your a very strong young lady keep Gavin #1 in your life and celebrate Tims life with him daily. Love you and if you need anything please let me know, my prayers are with you
We truely will miss Tim. We have all been such good friends for so long. we only regret that we haven’t been around as much since we had our kids. Crystal we love you and if u need anything dont hesatate to ask. we are so sorry!
Crystal I am so sorry about Tim. You are in my thoughts and prayers. I knew you both for a long time and we used to hang out several years ago. You both were good friends. My heart is sadden on account of this, still again I am so sorry.

My Deepest Sympathy. Tim & I went to school together at Fountain Run and he lived near us. We use to play together at the creek. He was a great guy. I have not seen him in several years but the memories are still there. My thoughts and prayers go out to his wife, son and Mom and other family.

Hello, I did not know Timothy but his grandmother was my father’s sister. I am very sorry for your loss, I know what it is like to loose a child. My condolences and prayers are with his family.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire Payne family. I haven’t seen him in a very long time but I hold a special place in my heart for him and my entire graduating class of 1994. He will be missed and I am truly sorry for your loss.
When a tragedy like this strikes, you have to remember to thank God for the time you spent with your loved one and not be angry for the time that was taken from you. Tim was a good husband, father and friend so for that we are blessed to have had our time with him. My thoughts and prayers will continue to be with the family. Live a life that would make Tim proud and keep his memory close.

Crystal, I am so sorry for your loss. I don’t think I had seen him since we all graduated back in 1994, but I always remember him being a very sweet guy and a good friend to all. I’m sure he was a terrific husband and wonderful father, as well. I always looked forward to reading Tim’s status’ on facebook when I had a stressful day, because they would always make me laugh. I pray that God will give you strength, comfort, and peace during this most difficult time.

I do not think I have seen Tim since graduation. He was friendly and funny. I’m sure he was a wonderful Dad and husband. I am so sorry to hear about Tim. Keep his memory alive and strong. I will pray for you Crystal and your son. May God give all of Tim’s family strength and comfort.
