Gladys M. Sexton
February 6, 1936 ~ June 10, 2010
Gladys M. Sexton, 74, Hiseville, died Thursday, June 10, 2010, at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. A daughter of the late Henry and Janie Jessie Morgan, she was a retired supervisor at SpanTec and a member of Price’s Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Barbara Sparkman (Michael) of Norman, OK; two sons, Garry Thomas Sexton (Tresia) and Jeffrey Sexton (Darlene) all of Glasgow; 7 grandchildren, Andrew Sexton, John Sexton, Matthew Sparkman, Joseph Sparkman, Adam Sexton, Jacob Sexton and Hannah Sexton; two brothers, Cecil Morgan and Joe Morgan; 10 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a large extended family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hollan Sexton; one brother, Jimmie Morgan; four sisters, Pauline Gray, Mary Constant, Shirley Reagan and Maxine Robertson.
Funeral services will be held 5:00 p.m. Sunday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Bragg Cemetery in Metcalfe County. Friends may call after 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
So sorry to hear about Aunt Gladys’ death. She was a truly wonderful person and one of my favorite aunts. Your entire family is in my heart and prayers, I truly know how difficult it is to lose a Mother. Love to all of you. Doris Ann

To the Sextion Family I worked with Gladys many years ago I never had the oppertunity to meet her family but I am sorry for your loss I want to remember her as she was as a jolly loving preson your entire family will be in my thoughts an prayers God bless you all

Garry and Tresia, so sorry to hear of your mom death. I only met her once at your house when
Tresia had a party of some kind. She was a sweet lady, and I know you will miss her. You are in lur prayers.

I was so sad to learn of the death of Gladys. She was a wonderful and kind woman. When I operated a car dealership in Cave City for over 17 years, I sold her a car and she had such a good experience and loved her car that we remained good friends over the years. She will be greatly missed. May God bless you.

Thanks to you Brandon and thanks to the rest for your warm wishes to me and my family. My Granny was very special to me and I will miss her terribly. She has been granted peace. The difficult part now is to attempt to heal and to not forget her. Thank you again.
