Shirley Mae Huff, 39, Glasgow, died Tuesday, June 1, 2010, at her residence. A native of Kansas, she was a daughter of Brenda Neal and the late Fred Busey, Sr. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her companion, James Neal of Glasgow; one daughter, Britney Neal of Glasgow; her mother, Brenda Houk (Steve) of Glasgow; two brothers, Charles Busey of Glasgow and Fred Busey of LaGrange; one sister, Geneva Colston of Kansas; three aunts, Geneva Johnson of Kansas, Wanda Hudgens of Glasgow and Margaret Harper of Horse Cave; one uncle, Jerry Neal of Missouri; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by one brother, Michael Busey.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Strader’s Ranch Cemetery. Friends may call after 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
James, I’m so sorry to hear of Shirley’s passing. I do not pretend to know the anquish of your heart and the void you must now feel in your life. I pray that you will find comfort in knowing that someone cares for you and Brittany.
Brenda and family, I am very sorry for your lost of your daughter and sister. I want to let you know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. She is in heaven to be an angel over you and your family. We will be thinking you in your time in need.

i wanted to say i love this girl to death i will greatly miss her she was my sister when i didn’t have one i love so much and i want say i am very so sorry for britany she has live without a great mom she was and she loved her girl dearly she always wanted a baby but when she got one god had to call home it’s so sad just please keep praying that her beautiful girl will be ok i was very proud of her taking care of britany like she did there is alot more this beautiful woman done she touched everyone heart i love you Shirley Mae you always will be remeber by me
