Patty Driver

Patty Louis Johnson Driver, 79, Glasgow, died Friday, March 25, 2011, at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. A native of Barren County, she was a daughter of the late Ernest Wilson and Derilda Strode. She was a care giver to the elderly and a member of the Bearwallow Baptist Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Linda Jones and Nancy Johnson, both of Louisville, and Pamela Edmunds and her husband, O.C. of Glasgow; three grandchildren, Terry Johnson, Ronnie Johnson and Donnie Johnson; one brother, Richard Wilson (Elsie) of Horse Cave; one sister, Alberta Hayes of Nicholasville; 11 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; 2 nephews and 1 niece.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Cecil Johnson and two grandchildren, Linda Faye Johnson and Tony Johnson.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Bearwallow Baptist Church with burial in the Pleasant Oak Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home.

To the family sorry to heard about your great loss she was a wonderful person to be around. But God knows best he knew she was getting tired but we know she up their holding on Gods hand no more weary nights God said come on home to be at rest. To the wonderful daughters just keep on trusting God in this difficult moment he will see you all through this time of sorrowful. We sending you all greetings from the LOrd he will be there every step of the way just hold on to his everlasting hand .Stay close with one another because you all had a wonderful christian mother who loved u all. I have been down that road before I know how you feel but God will comfort you all daily just believe it so my prayers are with you all she will be missed very deeply But God knows best . May God give you and you receive His comfort and strength that you need Now and Forever. God makes no mistake and it’s hard now to understand that sentence BUT I know for sure He will be your Everything, just pray for His strength and guidance and the memories of her life will remain in our heart and mind forever. We will see her again and never have to depart, eternity is such a wonderful future with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Robert and I both will have you in our prayers and thoughts.
The day I met Patty I was 7yrs old. I had just lost my father two years earlyer. She asked me was I Harry Hayes son I said yes. She begain to tell me things about my father and the times she shared with him while they were in school together. From that point until she always maid me feel like family. As i was growing up she looked out for me as if i was her own. Later about 10yrs I met her Daughters and grandsons and we been Family every since. Your love reached a lot of people in diffrent ways. Thank u for the love u shared with me.
