Mildred Francis
February 28, 1945 ~ April 26, 2011
Mildred Verlaine Francis, 66, Glasgow, died Tuesday, April 26, 2011, at the Glasgow Health & Rehabilitation Center. She was a daughter of the late Burton Thomas Francis and Mattie Lane Barber Francis. She was a retired employee of Mallory Capacitor and a member of Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Brandy Francis of Glasgow; two granddaughters, Kale?ah Francis and Kristen Anderson, both of Glasgow; two sisters, Margaret Bailey and Sylvia Buford (Chris) of Glasgow; one brother, Kenny Francis (Sue) of Glasgow; two uncles, William Francis of Ohio and Charles Barber of Indiana; two aunts, Tonya Barbour of California and Jewell Lacy of Indiana; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Walter Barber; one sister, Marilyn Francis; one son, Keith Delainey Francis.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday at the Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church with burial in the Barber Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at the church. Arrangements are entrusted to Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home.
