Clester L. Cox, Sr.
January 22, 1922 ~ September 29, 2011
Clester L. Cox, Sr. 89, of Glasgow died Thursday, September 29, 2011 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. He was the son of the late Pierce Cox and Rosetta Likens Cox. He was a veteran of WWII and a member of the Coral Hill Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife Virginia Eubank Cox; five Children: Barbara Chriswell of Indianapolis, IN, Clester Cox, Jr. and his wife Doris of Kingsbridge, WV, Carolyn Goben and her husband Mike of Louisville, KY, Patty Phillips and her husband Dennis of Green Valley, AZ, Peggy Dugard and her husband Danny of Kirk, CO; two step-sons: Gerald Eubank and Alan Eubank; fifteen grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife: Doris Evelyn Cox, one son: Lucky Lee Cox; one son-in-law: Bob Chriswell.
Funeral will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with Bro. Scott Peden and Bro. Danny Wyatt officiating. Burial will be in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 2:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.
