I had not seen “Big Dave” since he left KHH, but he was that one person that I remember as a kind, gentle man with a wonderful smile! My condolences to all his family and friends and pray that God will comfort all.
Dave and I knew each other from back in “The Chtlin’ Show” days on WLOC to his stint as “Deputy Dave” on the “Trader” on WHSX. I’ll miss his humor & big ‘ol kind heart.
So sorry to hear about the passing of David, I worked with him years ago. He was a very special and always friendly person.
Big David was great all to me all my life. When I was younger I have so many fond memories of sitting on his lap and watching the headhunters play. He was such a good person will always be remembered.
David Jessie…
with that low rumbling laugh, that smile that said he knew things you didn’t and that light that shone even at night…
He was the kind of man you felt better just seeing. And he was as much a part of the Headhunters as the band was, someone who lived the dresm right along with them + made every thing more vibrant seeing it reflected in his eyes.
There are some people who’re never quite gone. David Jessie is absolutely one of those…
My prayers, thoughts + love are with you all.
I am so sorry for your loss. I have heard so many nice things about David. I know he has touched so many lives, and I know that his family and friends are better for knowing and loving him. Peace be with all of you.
