Doris A. Bow Hiatt

Doris A. Bow Hiatt, 80, of Glasgow, died Thursday, March 29, 2012 at the Commonwealth Regional Specialty Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Huston Clay Dismon and Myrtle Brooks Dismon. She was the owner and operator of the Pink Carrousel beauty shop which she opened in 1971.
She is survived by her children: Phyllis Pendleton and her husband Eddie, Patricia Dennison Wilson, Tim Bow and his wife Kellie and Jeffery Todd Bow; her grandchildren: Josh (David) Dennison, Cody Dennison, Fallon Pendleton, Elizabeth Byrd, Lisa Blankenbeckler and her husband Terry, Matt Pendleton and his wife Debi, Glenn Hunley and his wife Rosa, Richard Wilson, William Wilson, MaRanda McCandless and her husband Zack, Kristen Bow, Aundrea Bow, Ryan Bow and Charlie Bow; eighteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Richard Hiatt; one son: Horace (David) Dennison, III; three sisters: Bertha Shelton, Katherine Apple and Marie Gilliam; one brother: Ralph Dismon.
Funeral will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be after 5:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.
