Shirley Sartain

Shirley Jean Estes Sartain 68, of Glasgow, KY died Thursday May 31, 2012 at T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow. She was the daughter of the late Cecil and Margaret Jobe Christie and a retired employee of Dana Corp in Glasgow.
Ms. Sartain is survived by one son: Steve Estes (wife Vickie) of Glasgow, KY; one daughter: Tammi DeMumbrum Parsons (husband A J) of Edmonton, KY; three grandchildren: Megan Neal (husband Chad), Allison DeMumbrum and Logan DeMumbrum of Edmonton, KY; step-grandson: Zack Parsons of Glasgow; one great grand daughter: Kensie Neal of Edmonton, KY; one uncle Lee Raymond (Shorty) Jobe of Nobob, KY.
She was preceded in death by a grand daughter Maranda Estes.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, June 2, 2012 at Hatcher and Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 4:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.

Your Mom and I went to school together at Glasgow High. I will always remember her smile and friendly personality. Our paths crossed occasionally down through the years and I was always glad to see her. I am so sorry for your loss. Sweet,sweet lady!
I am so sorry to hear about shirley. I worked with her at Jerry’s Restaurant and eaton’s and i loved her dearly. We have had a lot of fun together. God bless you children
