Barbara Rose Locke, 82 of Greenville, Kentucky formerly of Hiseville, died Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at the Muhlenberg Community Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Leslie Carlisle Locke and Laura Jones Locke. She was a member of the Hiseville Methodist Church and a graduate of Hiseville High School.

She is survived by her brother: Joseph K. Locke of Louisville, KY; one nephew: Billy Locke of Glasgow; two nieces: Mary Ann Locke of Louisville, KY and Donna Seymour of Upton, KY. Several great-nieces and nephews also survive.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers: Carl Locke and Orville Locke and two sisters: Minnie Jones Locke and Vera Lillian Locke.

Funeral will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Hiseville Cemetery. Visitation will be after 11:00 A.M. Sunday at the funeral home.

    I remember my Aunt Barbara always greeting me with a smile when I would come to visit. I was not able to see her as much when I got older but I will always remember her smile and hugs that she gave me. She is with the Lord now and at peace. I loved her very much.
