William Harold “Bill” Birge
December 21, 1949 ~ May 5, 2014
William Harold (Bill) Birge, 64, of Glasgow, died Monday, May 05, 2014 at his residence. He was a son of the late Ray England and Nettie Jane Birge.
He is survived by his wife Pat Birge; two sons: Billy Birge and Brian (Rebekah) Birge; four grandchildren: Steven Birge, Scarlett Birge, Ethan Birge and Elliott Birge; six sisters: Dorene (Bob) Hard of Scottsville, Evie (Lloyd) Moore of Louisville, Nancy McIntyre of Summer Shade, Linda (Eddie) Long of Indianapolis, Brenda (Dale) Moore of Tompkinsville and Sondra (Tony) Richey of Temple Hill; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers: Bob Birge, Kelly Birge and Shelly Birge; one sister: Mary Lena Birge.
Funeral will be 1:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the White Cemetery. Visitation will be after 1:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Pat, Brian and family….We are so sorry to hear of the death of your husband, father and grandfather. May God wrap His arms around you, hold you all close to Him and give you comfort is our prayer for all of you.

I have so many fond memories of our families together , and the many roads we traveled together… It was always five more miles to wherever we were going…… Our journey on earth is short, but we will all meet again with God.
