Betty Goddard Hall
June 29, 1923 ~ January 30, 2015
Betty Hall, 91, of Glasgow, died Friday, January 30, 2015, at NHC Healthcare.
She was a loving wife of the late Joe T. Hall and mother of six children. She was the daughter of the late F. W. Goddard and Elizabeth Myers Goddard. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Glasgow. Mrs. Hall was a member of Eastern Star and Disabled American Veterans, DAVA. Throughout her life, she volunteered for church and school committees and events. She loved to knit and crochet and knitted for years for the Merchant Marines.
She is survived by four daughters, Martha Wagoner (Ernie) and Ann Stewart of Glasgow, Nancy Pace and Shirley Blann of Bowling Green, and one son, Bill Luster (Linda) of Louisville. She has ten grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
Besides her parents and husband, one daughter, Jane Goddard Hall, preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be on Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery.
Visitation is Monday, February 2 at the funeral home from 3:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. and on Tuesday, February 3 prior to the funeral.
The family requests donations to the American Diabetes Association, American Cancer Society or the donors’ choice of charitable organizations.

We are so lucky to have been part of Betty’s family and spent time with her. She will be greatly missed. However, the wonderful memories will live on forever. God bless and love to all.

We wish all the family comforting thoughts during this great loss of Betty. She and Joe were pioneers in the DAV/DAVA Chapter 20 community. Their contributions have blessed many families by their dedicated love for military veterans. It continues in their children, and their efforts also.

So sorry to hear about your mother. Your mom was a delight to know. I want to thank all of you for allowing me to get to know her while I was working at NHC a few years ago. She loved her family dearly!!! You all were very fortunate to have such a wonderful mother and grandmother!! You all are in my thoughts and prayers.
