Bobby Shoopman

September 16, 1941          ~          May 19, 2015

Bobby J. Shoopman, 73, of Glasgow, died Tuesday, May 19 at Diversicare of Glasgow. He was a son of the late John Stanley and Bessie Carver Shoopman. He was a Barren County Deputy Jailer, security guard at T. J. Samson Community Hospital and a member of the Temple Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife: Clara Mae Shoopman; one brother: Billy Joe Shoopman; five sisters: Mary Spradlin, Barbara Larabee, Sue Newman, Minnie Smith and Frankie Mikesell; Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter: Bonita Kaye Shoopman.

Funeral will be 1:00 P.M. Friday, May 22, 2015 at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 5:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
