Larry Wayne Delk
February 6, 1947 ~ June 18, 2015
Larry Wayne Delk, 68, Austin, died Thursday, June 18, 2015, at his residence. A native of Glasgow, he was a son of the late Philip and Lela Mae Boone Delk. He was a 1965 graduate of Glasgow High School and a retired employee of Dana Corporation. He had previously worked at the Barren River Boat Dock, was formerly a member of the Jaycees, and a member of the Barren River Rod and Gun Club. He loved anything that was UK, and loved watching ballgames of any kind on television.
Survivors include his daughter Kim Delk Sanderson and husband Scotty; a special son: Cortney Austin and wife Brittany; a niece: Rita Walden; a nephew: Philip Lewis Delk; an aunt: Marie Elmore; a step-niece: Denise Todd and husband Wayne; a sister-in-law: Patricia Delk; and his beloved Chihuahuas: Gizmo and Radar.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Cathy Austin Delk; Kim’s Mother: Annette Albany Delk; his three brothers: Muncie Delk, James L. Delk, and Jeffrey Delk.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Friends may call after 1:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Very sorry to hear this, Larry and Annette were friends of mine and Larry and his Father did some contract work for me when I was at Glasgow Industries. We had some good and very funny times. Prayers sent to you my friend and your family I will miss you brother.

Cortney, I loved Larry like a second father. He will be greatly missed. I wish I could be there for you and your family during your time of need, but know you all are in our thoughts and prayers.
Kim, I have many fond memories of Larry. He was such a fun guy. He and Annette were always such good friends of mine.Enjoyed visiting with you all when you lived in Glasgow. Sorry, but I am unable to attend the funeral. You and your family are in my prayers.God bless.
