Rondel Lee Owens
March 12, 1937 ~ August 23, 2015
Rondel Lee Owens, 78 of Hiseville, died Sunday, August 23, 2015 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. He was a son of the late Charlie and Sophie Martin Owens. He was a plumber and a member of the Rock Springs Baptist Church.
He is survived by his granddaughter: Lindsey Neal “Josh”; three brothers: Charles Owens “Jaynette”, Ray Owens and Robert Owens “Marie”; five sisters: Ruth Ann Jewell “Bill”, Linda England “Larry”, Brenda Bishop
“Larry”, Mary K. Owens and Bonnie Sexton “W. T.”; son-in-law: Roger Thomas “Dolly”; several nieces and nephews including 2 special nieces, Tonya Bright and Shellye Russell; sister-in-law: Carolyn Owens; a special friend: Agnes Wheeler.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Shirley Deane Mills Owens; his daughter: Rhonda Owens Thomas; one brother: Mitchell Owens; two sisters: Dorothy Poynter and Barbara Owens.
Funeral will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Hiseville Cemetery. Visatation will be after 5:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home.

We are so sorry for your loss, he was so very sweet to everyone he would meet..Me an my mom just saw him a week ago. and he gave my mom a big hug..Ment a lot to her she had a stroke in Janauary,,She use to wait on him an his wife years ago..they were good friends..she will truly miss him as well..Thoughts and Prayers for Rondal’s Family..

My prayers are with your family in this time of sorrow. I often referred to Rondel and Shirley as ‘my angels’ when I would wait on them at the Old Dutch Mill. Their joy and love for life touched me deeply, and they will be remembered and loved forever.
Rondel was not only our plumber but also our friend. He was always glad to see us & always smiling. He will be greatly missed.

He was a wonderful loving man. He wasn’t just our Plummer he was our friend and also he was like family to us. He was loved by many and that we will always cherish everyday. We pray for his family that has lost their very loved one. Every time we seen him he always had a smile and always laughing with us. If there anything we can do plz let us know.
