James Chambers
March 9, 1942 ~ September 14, 2015
James William Chambers, 73, Glasgow, passed away Monday, September 14, 2015. A native of Barren County, he was the son of the late Henry Gatewood Chambers and Opal Jane Morrison Chambers.
James was a graduate of Austin-Tracy High School, after which he attended Murray State University on a basketball scholarship. He went on to graduate from Eastern Kentucky University and the University of Louisville School of Law. He was a former member of the Kentucky State Police and the Jefferson County Police Department, and has been a practicing attorney for 35 years. He was the founder of James Chambers & Associates Law Firm.
Survivors include his wife Ann Clark Chambers; one daughter: Darla Beckham of Glasgow; three grandchildren: Madison, Alex, and Carson; two aunts: Eugenia Morrison of Glasgow, and Carolyn Foushee of Vine Grove, KY; two nephews: Casey Palmer and wife Andrea, and Trever Palmer; four great nieces and nephews: Lexi Palmer, Silas Palmer, Layla Palmer, and Sully Palmer; two God-Children: Cassie Yates Clagett and Clayton Wade Yates; several cousins and numerous loving friends.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday, September 27, 2015, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home. Friends may call after 12 noon at the funeral home.
So very sorry for your loss. He will be missed . James had been in our home many times over the years. He was a great attorney . He worked hard for us and we considered him as our friend . We always enjoyed talking to him.
