Doris Jean Cross
February 3, 1942 ~ December 30, 2015
Doris Jean Cross, age 73, a resident of Glenview Health Care Facility in Glasgow for the past 43 years, passed into her eternal home on December 30, 2015 after a lengthy illness. She was preceded in death by her parents Vera Bray Cross and Harley Cross, and a sister Linda Gayle Saltsman.
Survivors include two sisters: Mary Lois Clark of Edmonton and Shelia Saltsman and husband Ronnie of Glasgow; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of family at Glenview Health Care.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 11 to 1:00 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be given to Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home toward funeral expenses.
Doris Jean I loved you very much. It was an honor taking care of such an amazing sweet loving and caring women. You will be missed by so many. You are in a much better place now sweetheart. My heart goes out to your family r

Doris Jean was such a sweetheart. She saw the world as it should be. I’m thankful for the good memories I have with my family when we would visit Doris Jean as well as Vera and Harley. Her smiles and those big hugs will live on in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved her. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.
