Wilma Harrison, age 77, of Glasgow, died Monday, February 01, 2016 at her home. She was the only child of the late Ersie Agers Froedge and step-daughter of Elwood Froedge. Her husband and soulmate of 60 years, Bobby Lee Harrison, preceded her in death in August 2015. Wilma was a teller for 27 years with BB&T until her retirement in December 2004, with most of those years at the Hiseville Banking Center. She retired from PBI Bank in May 2015 after 10 years of service.

She is survived by four daughters: Donna (Mark) Manning of Lexington, Barbara (Earl) Richardson of Stamping Ground, Vicki (Sammy) Monroe of Cave City, and Ellen Harrison of Louisville; five grandchildren: Michelle Jones (Belinda Setters) of Louisville, Sammye Jo (J R) Estes and Dana Monroe of Cave City, Melissa Manning of Atlanta, and Christopher Manning of Lexington; two great-grandchildren: Matthew and Miken Estes of Cave City; and a special nephew: Kevin Harrison of Glasgow.

In addition to her spouse and parents, she was preceded in death by one grandson Matthew Monroe, and two granddaughters Samantha and Amy Monroe.

Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 a.m. Thursday until time for services at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home.

Alternate expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Matt Monroe Memorial Scholarship Fund, P.O. Box 1316, Glasgow, KY 42142-1316.

    When your heart is empty, filling it with happy memories can help. I think of her when I eat red sweet peppers and pretzels. She used to give us some of hers that she kept in the drawer at the bank. I really miss her.
