Cordelia Joan Walden
May 22, 1940 ~ May 10, 2016
Cordelia Joan Walden, 75, Glasgow, passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. She was a daughter of the late Samuel Jackson and Iola Berneice Wilborn Walker. She was a member of the Columbia Avenue Church of Christ.
She is survived by two sons: Joseph “Rita” Walden and Jeffery Todd Walden; three daughters: Jessica Bonita “Tony” Bunch, Beverly June Acree and Terri Jane “Jerry Frazier” Walden; fourteen grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; two brothers: Robert Walker and Oren Walker; one sister: Nell Fernandez.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband: Jessie Harlan Walden; one brother: Ivan Walker; one sister: Imogene Westmoreland
Funeral will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, May 12, 2016 at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 3:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the funeral home.

I can’t believe your not here with us! I will miss you so much just like everyone that new you. I remember when I was a little girl I loved staying with you an playing with all the kids. You always babied me and always loved me so much. But every Angle gets called home. I love you aunt Joan.

May the lord call his angel home to be with her family in heaven & may she remain in the thoughts of those who loved her daily until they meet again .Wrap your arm around each family member Jesus to give them comfort during this time of hardship .And with each passing day let the pain get easier until they meet their mom again ?

I can not believe Cordelia is gone i worked with her for years at TJ she was one of the hardest working kindest lady I know I talked to her son Jeffrey didnt realize she was that bad. Cordelia is in a far better place praying for her family
