Charles P. Sharp
May 31, 1940 ~ July 9, 2016
Charles P. Sharp, 76, of Glasgow passed away Saturday July 9, 2016 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tn. He was a son of the late Sylvester Lee and Mayme Porter Delk Sharp. He was retired owner and operator of Sharp Bedding in Glasgow, Ky. A member of the Bearwalllow, Cave City Masonic Lodge F.&A.M. #231, he also was a member of the KOTTPA which he loved along with all the truck pulling family.
He is survived by two sons: Tracy Sharp (Jennifer) and Chad Sharp (Bucket); one daughter: Sherry Sharp Busing (Wayne); five grandchildren: Cody Busing (Christina), Kadi Busing, Riley Simmons, Kadyn Sharp and Camden Sharp; two great-grandchildren: Baylee Busing and McKenzie Busing; special friend Shirley Taylor; also several nieces and nephews survive.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers: Melrose and David Sharp; two sisters: Virginia Delaney and Brenda Sharp.
Funeral will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the New Salem Cemetery. Visitation will be after 4:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home. Bearwallow, Cave City Masonic Lodge F.&A.M. #231 will provide a Masonic Service at 7:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home; the public is invited to attend.

I know that all of you are very sad at this time and my prayers are with you. Charles was a very special person and will be missed by all. Just know that you have friends that love you and will be there for you. If I can do anything please let me know.
