Our deepest sympathy to you & your family, Carolyn. Billy’s smile and laughter was welcoming to everyone he met; even for the first time. Jack & Liz spoke often of the fun that Uncle Billy brought to the Matthews family gatherings. Our prayers are with you at this time of sorrow and pain.
One of the great rewards for serving the Lord as a Christian Minister is becoming a part of the lives of folk like Billy and Carolyn and their family, whom we feel are a very real part of our family. We go all the way back to the mid 60’s and it is still delight to recall the fun filled occasions when we were in their home or they in ours and serving with them as part of the Hiseville Christian Church.
Billy was not just a brother in Christ, he was a dear friend, as are you Carolyn. He not only lives on with our Lord in Heaven; he lives in our heart.
Although we didn’t know Billy really well, we have always heard many good things about him. We do know that he raised his son to be a very good man, which makes any man a success. He will surely be missed by all who knew him.
Carolyn we are so sorry for your loss of a wonderful man, husband. We missed having you as a neighbor, we will keep you and yours in our prayers.
Uplifting prayers for all -now & later!
May Gods grace give you peace & comfort.
To the Family, Billy and I worked and laughed on the same shift at RRD for a number of years. We got to know each others family vicariously through our day to day conversations. You guys were so special to Billy and to me and my family by knowing him. God puts people in your life for seasons, and I thank God for Billy(Wayne)and my season.
I was so shocked and stunned to hear of his passing but Our Father knows best. I pray Carolyn that the Lord bless and keep you and the entire Family.
Prayer of comfort to Carolyn, the children and the rest of the family. We thought very highly of Billy. He was a good man to work with and for. He put family before work, his own and others. His loss here on earth is heavens gain.
