Frank G. Morrison

Frank G. Morrison, 96, Hiseville, died Monday, October 31, 2016, at the NHC Healthcare in Glasgow. A native of Barren County, he was a son of the late Virgil “Ike” Morrison and Clara Jones Morrison. He was a farmer; a veteran with the Army Air Corps during WWII; a member of the Methodist Faith; a member of the Hiseville Order of the Eastern Star; and had been a member of the Hiseville Masonic Lodge for approximately 70 years.
Survivors include his wife Marcella, to whom he would have been married 70 years had he lived another month; three children: Patricia Bragg and husband James of Coral Hill, Beverly Bragg of Glasgow, and Chris Morrison and wife Rhonda of Hiseville; five grandchildren: Tonya Bragg Underwood and husband Brett of Glasgow, Joshua Gibbs and wife Sara of Santa Rosa, CA, Kayla Branham and husband Tommy of Hiseville, Kendra Tudor and husband Justin of Summer Shade, and Kathryn Morrison of Hiseville; seven great-grandchildren: John Michael Vincent of Hiseville, Jeffrey Gibbs and John Gibbs of Santa Rosa, Connor Clay and Cason Tudor of Summer Shade, Tristan and Isabella Branham of Hiseville; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his five siblings: David Morrison, Virgil J. “Mutt” Morrison, Winston “Wint” Morrison, Wesley Morrison, and Gladys Craddock.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Thursday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Hiseville Cemetery. Visitation will be after 3:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
