Linda G. Ballard
September 23, 1953 ~ July 22, 2020
Linda G. Ballard, 66, Glasgow, passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at her residence. A native of Barren County, she was a daughter of the late Elzie and Wilma Branham Pickerel. She was retired as a CSR at R R Donnelley & Sons and was a member of the East Fork Missionary Baptist Church. She was a very devoted lover of her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband Carlos Ballard; two sons: Jeff Ballard and his wife Tonya, and Todd Ballard and his wife Vicki; four grandchildren: Tiffany, Mackenzie, Sydney, and Maylyn; a special niece, Ashley Pickerel; one sister, Phyllis Morgan; three brothers: Michael Pickerel and wife Loretta, Terry Pickerel and wife Fran, and Bruce Pickerel and wife Dawn; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 2 pm Saturday at the funeral home.
In keeping with the Governor’s mandates for funeral and memorial services, the number of attendees in the funeral home at any given time will be limited; no food permitted in the lounge; social distancing will be necessary; and face coverings are required.
