Gregory Shawn Slayton, 47, Glasgow, passed away Monday, June 14, 2021 at his residence. A native of Barren County, he was a son of the late Clyde Ray Slayton and Darline Nanny Slayton. He was retired manager of Pizza Hut in Glasgow, a job that he dearly loved. He also loved to travel and was a member of the Refuge Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife Tanya Crabtree Slayton; six children: Malacia Slayton (Daniel), Bryson Slayton, Rylan Slayton, Jennifer Crabtree, Christina Jessee, and Tara Jessee; four grandchildren: Mia Crabtree, Harper Crabtree, Christopher Crabtree, and Aspen Jessee; three sisters: Debra Slayton (James Lawson), Trish Brown, and Melissa Young (Billie Goley); one brother, Joey Slayton; three sisters-in-law: Connie Stephens (Tony), Sherri Vibbert (Chance Fox), and Belle Thomas; several nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles; and a special friend family, Joe and Patty Warren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Leon Crabtree.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will after 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

    So sorry to hear of Greg’s passing. We was always having fun and cutting up together when we worked at pizza hut in 90s. We was in our youth then but always remained good friends. To your wife , children and grandchildren so sorry for your loss. Fly high my friend you will never be forgotten.
