Ellen Strader
April 22, 1975 ~ July 18, 2021
Ellen Dawn Strader, 46, Cave City, died Sunday, July 18, 2021 at her residence. A native of Barren County she was the daughter of the late David Alexander Strader and Lenita Poynter Strader. She was the owner of Ellen’s Consignment in Hiseville.
Survivors include one son Dylan Compton of Glasgow; one brother, Alex Strader; four sisters: Sherri Harlow, Karen Dilley, Leslie Strader, and Chrissie Morgan; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Evelyn and Shorty Poynter; and her paternal grandparents, Anna Katherine and Sam Strader, Sr.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Hiseville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 pm Saturday and continue Sunday morning at the funeral home.
I’m sorry to hear of the passing of Ellen. I always loved going into her store. Prayers to her family.
