Linda Jean Byrd
October 17, 1940 ~ July 19, 2021
Linda Jean Cheatham Byrd, 80, of Glasgow, Kentucky, passed away Monday, July 19, 2021 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. She was a daughter of the late Horace and Easter Mae Collins Cheatham. She was a faithful member of the First Freewill Baptist Church.
She is survived by three sons: Robbie (Brenda) Byrd, Kevin (Michelle) Byrd and Keith Byrd; two daughters: Kathy (Kenny) Sutton and Lorrie Byrd; eleven grandchildren, thirty four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews; three sisters: Bertha Williams, Joann McCoy and Mary Katherine Matthews; her dear friend: Martha Dicken.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband: Windell C. Byrd; two sisters: Evelyn Marcum and Louise Tarry; three brothers: John Sam Cheatham, Will Cheatham and James Howard Cheatham.
Funeral will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, July 23, 2021 at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Caney Fork Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home and after 9:00 a.m. Friday until time for services.

So sorry to hear about Ms. Linda’s passing. She was always so sweet and kind. Ms. Linda always had a smile when I saw her at church! We will be praying for God’s comfort for the family in the coming days.
