Selby Shirley
June 2, 1944 ~ January 29, 2022
Selby Glen Shirley, 77, of Glasgow, Kentucky, went to be with his Lord and Savior Saturday, January 29, 2022. He was a son of the late Ray and Inis Sexton Shirley. He was a retired Machine Operator from SKF and member of East Fork Missionary Baptist Church. After retirement he and his wife owned and operated G & B Auto Sales.
He is survived by his son: Stephen (Steve) Shirley and his wife Susan Hampton Shirley; two grandchildren: Summer Caroline Shirley Nash (Clay) and Sawyer Hampton Shirley; one great-granddaughter: Ivy Jewell Nash; five brothers: Nolan Shirley, Maxie Shirley, Leon Shirley, Rondal Shirley and Joe Shirley; three sisters: Betty Tarry, Kathryn Dickson and Loretta Dickson; several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death his wife: Betty Sue Shirley; one brother: Bro. Lendell Shirley.
Funeral will be 5:00 pm Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 1:00 pm Tuesday until time for services.

So sorry for the passing of Selby, today and always, may loving memories bring you peace, comfort, and strength. I have childhood memories of Selby as a cousin who was fun loving and caring.
We were sorry to hear that Selby had passed away. We were very close and were good
friends. Selby was able to do about anything He was asked to do. Olene and I would visit
Their home and enjoyed it very much .There wasn’t many times That Betty and Selby weren’t busy.
Rest in peace dear friend, you deserve it.
