William D. Thomas

William D. Thomas, 85, of Glasgow, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, March 27, 2022 at NHC Nursing Facility. He was a son of the late W. D. “Jack” Thomas and Annie Mae Jones Thomas. He was a retired mason.
He is survived by two sons: Roger Thomas (Dolly) and Doug Thomas (Martha); five grandchildren: Stephanie “Peaches” Lewis (Kenny), Amber Westmoreland (Chucky), Megan Thomas, Brittany Carney and Lindsey Neal (Josh); thirteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife: Nelda Irene “Peepe” Riddle Thomas; one daughter: Donna Harbison; one granddaughter: Whitney Faith Carney; six brothers: Bill Thomas, Earnest Thomas, Raymond Thomas, Kenneth Thomas, Richard Thomas and Donald Thomas; four sisters: Ethel Ogden, Wilma Thomas, Elizabeth Carol and Edna Ashley.
Funeral will be 1:00 pm Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Cedar Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.

Although I only got to care for Doug for about a year I grew very fond of him.He will be missed at NHC on Station 4. Thank you all so much for choosing us to care for him and get to know and love him.To me he was a very spexial man.My prayers are with you as you say your good byes and lay this precious soul to rest.
