Lois H. Nunn

Lois Marie Hunley Nunn, 87, Glasgow, passed away Saturday, April 2, 2022. The daughter of the late Elbert Royce Hunley and Mary Horton Hunley, she was a retired sales clerk having worked at Glasgow National Store and Watson’s Department Store.
Mrs. Nunn was a very personable lady. She was extremely fond of her family heritage and was a very proud supporter of all of her family members. She enjoyed cooking and antiquing and was an avid gardener who had a sincere love for working in her flowers, especially the roses. She was a member of Glasgow Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters: Jacqueline Nunn Alexander and husband Doug of Waterview, and Sherry Nunn Waldrop and husband Kevin of Glasgow; eight grandchildren: Joe Myers (Darlene), Holly Myers, Cade Waldrop, Leigh Ann Morgan (TJ), Liza Tucker (Jamie), Adrienne Edwards (Zach), Jacob Nunn (Makayla), and Paige Pulliam (Andrew); one brother, Elbert Hunley, Jr. and wife Martha of Glasgow; eleven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Jack L. Nunn; one son Steven Carroll Nunn; one brother Tommy Hunley; and three sisters: Louise McCoy, Geneva Duke, and Marilyn Byers.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be after 4:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
So sad for the loss of Lois. Loved her so much and Jack.Very sweet lady.
But she is so happy to get with Jack and all her family. It’s so hard

Lois was such a lovely lady. Prayers for comfort and peace during this difficult time.
So sorry to hear about Mrs Nunn’s death. She was such a wonderful lady and I’m sure will be greatly missed by all who knew her. May God encircle her family with his love and care.
