Lena Margaret Dickerson
Lena Margaret Rush Dickerson, 92, Glasgow, passed away Monday, November 7, 2022. A native of Metcalfe County, she was the daughter of the late Ralph Kenton Rush and Maymie Brooks Rush. She was a proud and dedicated mother and homemaker and a member of the Bethel Methodist Church.
Survivors include three children: David Allen Dickerson and wife Leighan, Carl Howard Dickerson and wife Margie, and Jill Dickerson Bryant and husband Bob; eight grandchildren: Bradley Dickerson, MacKay Dickerson, Elliott Dickerson, Sara Harlow, Kenton Bryant, Yates Bryant, Conner Bryant, and Tyler Bryant; one brother, Butch Rush; two sisters: Sue Romines and Mary Stephens; eleven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Clyde McCreary “Mack” Dickerson; one grandson Adam Dickerson; three brothers: Charles Rush, Tab Rush, and Buddy Rush; and one sister Patsy Rush.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 7 p.m. Wednesday and continue Thursday morning at the funeral home. Alternate expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Community Action—Southern Kentucky, 411 Happy Valley Road, Glasgow, KY 42141, or Crossroads Life Center, 123 East Washington Street, Glasgow, KY 42141.
