Donnie Russell Pedigo, 55, of Glasgow, Kentucky passed away Friday, April 21, 2023 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Kentucky.  He was a son of the late James C. and Loretta Chapman Pedigo.  He was a 1986 graduate of Barren County High School where he was active in Track and Cross Country.  He served in the US Army from 1986 to 1990 as a flight operation specialist at Fort Benning, GA.  Married to his high school sweet heart for 35 years.  A huge fan of UK basketball he loved to play soft ball and coaching young people in any sport that he could.  He especially loved coaching his sons in little league baseball and soccer.  Donnie loved hunting, fishing, camping and being on the lake with family and friends.  He just enjoyed warm weather and being outdoors, he loved making people laugh.  He worked for Scotty’s Contracting and Stone as a heavy equipment operator.

He is survived by wife: Jan Walden Pedigo; two sons: Kalen Pedigo and Braden Pedigo; one sister: Velvet Scott (Roger); three brothers: Wesley Pedigo (Sandy), David Pedigo (Debbie) and Joe Pedigo; mother-in-law: Carrol Walden; two sister-in-laws: Tammy Christie (Ricky) and Quinna Walden; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother: Thelma Pedigo.

Funeral will be 2:00 Monday, April 24, 2023 at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery.  Visitation will be Sunday from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm and after 9:00 am Monday until time for services.  Glasgow Chapter 20 DAV will provide military honors at the cemetery.
