Ollie Eileen Brown
Ollie Eileen Royse Brown – was born May 30, 1927. She was called by her Lord and passed away peacefully with family by her side on June 19, 2023. She was preceded in death by her father Tollie, her mother Lola, her brother Thomas, and her husband Richard, and her son-in-laws Max and Frank. She is survived by her daughters Omie and Janice and Janice’s husband Phil, her grandchildren Stacey, George, Regina, Lisa, Brian and Jennifer, her great grandchildren Shelby, Caleb, Hailey, Leland, Tobias, Ethan, Gabrielle, Nicole, Noah, and Tanner, and Regina and Lisa’s children and grandchildren, and her nieces and nephews Ricky, Mark, Lori, Rhonda, Keith and Kevin – and her extended family LeeAnn and Frances. We celebrate her full life of 96 years. May she rest in the arms of her God.
Funeral Service will be held 2 pm Thursday June 22, 2023 at Hatcher & Saddler Funeral home. Visitation after 10 am the day of service. Graveside service will be held 9am EST Saturday June 24, 2023 in the Forest Lawn Cemetery Indianapolis IN.
Eileen was my aunt, my late father’s only sibling. Her life was not easy. A widow at age 39. with two children. She perserved and was a hard worker. To Omie, Janice and all the grand children, Eileen deeply loved and was very proud of her family. In this time of sadness, a joyous reminder, that after 57 years apart, Eileen and Richard are now together for eternity. I greatly admired Eileen for the care and devotion shown toward her mother, my grandmother, over the last several years of Grandma’s life. Grandma lived to the age of 102. Eileen will be deeply missed by her family and those who knew her.
