Linda Ann Turben

It is with great sadness that the family of Linda Ann Turben announces her sudden passing on Friday, September 22, 2023 surrounded by her loved ones. She was born to the late Plazi and Blanca Curshellas in Santa Rosa, California.
She married the late Laverne Turben in 1972 in California, later moved to Pennsylvanian where her children Denise Turben (deceased) Michele Wooten (Ricky) and Michael Turben (Jennifer) were born. They later moved to Edmonton. This is where she started her career as an LPN and began her devotion to care for others. She retired from Glasgow State Nursing Facility. She then returned to work part time at Golden Years Adult Day Care and most recently Community Medical Care.
She is also survived by her grandchildren Kasey Bernier and 2 great grandchildren, Payton Turben and Jaydon Turben and 1 great grandchild, her sister Yolanda Repetowski of Glasgow, nephew Brandon Repetowski, niece Janea Curshellas, and two great-nieces, Eden and Stella, step children Gail Vasquez (Rick) and 5 grandchildren of California, Greg Turben and 4 grandchildren of Pennsylvania and Becky Gill (Steve) and 3 Grandchildren of New Mexico several step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her brother David Curshellas.
A dedication Mass will be Sunday, October 1, 2023 at Christ the Healer Catholic Church, 1610 West Stockton Street, Edmonton, Kentucky at 11:00 am and a remembrance fellowship meal following the service. Memorial donations in Linda’s name may be made to the American Heart org or to her recent work location of Community Medical Care, 134 North Race Street, Glasgow, Kentucky 42141. Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
