Delmer Glover

          Delmer Frank Glover, 82, Glasgow, passed away Monday, January 8, 2024 at the T J Samson Community Hospital.  A native of Barren County, he was the son of the late William P. Glover and Sally Ann Matthews Glover.  He was a retired farmer and mechanic and a member of the Grider Memorial Baptist Church.

          Survivors include one son Donnie Glover (Virginia); one daughter Norma Glover; two grandchildren: Chase Glover (Sarah) and Vanessa Tucker (Justin); four great-grandchildren: Garret, Layla, and Owen Glover, and Justin Minton; one brother David Glover (Sandy) of Indianapolis; two sisters: Dorothy Kingrey (Curtis) of Louisville, and Betty Kingrey (Paris) of Glasgow; one sister-in-law Barbara Glover; several nieces and nephews.

          In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of over 60 years Nell Doris Waller Glover; and two brothers: Floyd Glover and Roy Glover of Indiana.

          Funeral services will be held 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Buckley Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and continue Wednesday morning at the funeral home.
