Elvin Borders

          Elvin Borders, 81, Glasgow, passed away Saturday, January 6, 2024 at his residence.  Born January 30, 1942 at Railton, he was the son of the late Andrew and Edna Mutter Borders.  He was a farmer and a member of the Beaver Creek Baptist Church.

          Survivors include his wife Linda; two daughters: Dana Salley and husband Rusty, and Michele Ellis and husband William, Jr.; six grandchildren: Natasha Smith (Christopher), Benjamin Borders (Ashley), Alyce Henry (David), Brooke Holman (Sidney), Logan Ellis, and Lauren White (Patrick); one sister, June Meador; fourteen great-grandchildren; three nieces.

          In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son Trandall Borders and his wife Jackie; and one sister, Andrea Kinslow.

          Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery.  Visitation will be after 4:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
