William Oscar Smith

William Oscar Smith, 72, of Glasgow, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, September 14, 2024 at the Bowling Green Medical Center. He was a son of the late Virgil and Ella May Crow Smith. He was retired from the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery and worked at Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home.
He is survived by his wife: Charlotte Smith; step-children: Jerry Marsh and Rhonda Hatfield; one sister: Anna Britt; two brothers: Arthur James Simpson and Clifton Smith (Rose); several nieces and nephews also survive.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by one brother: Donald Crow.
Funeral will be 10:00 am Tuesday, September 17, 2024 at Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm Monday and after 8:00 am Tuesday until time for services.
William was such a fine man, it is my pleasure to have known him. He was a hard worker and so much fun to work with. He will be dearly missed and forever remembered, by all who knew him. May he rest in Peace in HEAVEN above, watching over us and laughing at Us.
