Mary D Emberton

Mary D. Emberton, age 93, passed away November 21, 2024, at Pleasant Meadow Assisted Living facility in Frankfort, Kentucky, where she lived and was affectionately known as “Shortie”. Mary was born May 19, 1931, in Monroe County, Kentucky, to the late Jimmie D. Reagan and Mary Alma Smith Reagan. She had one sibling, the late Andrew Harlin Reagan.

Mary was a graduate of Fountain Run High School and later married the late Wallace Aaron Emberton, on July 6, 1952. They had three daughters, Jacqueline Stockton (Dennis) of Frankfort, Kentucky, Joyce Medina (Mike) of Boca Raton, Florida, and the late Janet Riddell (Roger). Mary was a member of the Church of Christ.

Mary is also survived by three grandchildren, Aaron R. Stockton of Aubrey, Texas, Amber R. Collins (Kenny) of Frankfort, Kentucky, and Michael Medina of Charlotte, North Carolina; along with five great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Graveside services and burial will be officiated by Bro. Allen Jones for Mary on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Glasgow Municipal Cemetery.  Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
