Juanita E. Strange

          Juanita E. Strange, 91, Bowling Green, passed away Friday, November 29, 2024 at Magnolia Village in Bowling Green.  A native of Barren County, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence D. Coffey and Julia Elizabeth Cary Coffey.

          Juanita was a retired employee of Sumitomo whose favorite pastimes were sewing and reading.  She was a member of the Alvaton Church of Christ.

          Survivors include two sons: Greg Strange and his wife Norma, and Todd Strange and his wife Lori all of Bowling Green; three grandchildren: Casey Strange, Jessie Flatt and husband Payne, and Connor Strange and his wife Misa; one brother, Calvin Coffey and his wife Carol; several nieces and nephews.

          In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers: Happy Coffey (Louise) and “Shorty” Coffey; and two sisters: Wilma Hogue (Rumsey) and Juanita’s twin, Geneva Harvey (Raymond).

          Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 7, 2024 at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in Happy Valley Memorial Gardens.  Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and continue Saturday morning at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer’s Association.
