Betty Jean Brinkerhoff, 64, Glasgow, passed away Sunday, April, 28, 2024 suddenly at her residence.  She was born January, 28, 1960 in Campbellsville, Kentucky to the Late Bobby Joe and Loretta Wethington Ford. Betty retired from Barren County School System in food services. She loved her flowers and loved the spring time. Spring to her was a fresh new start for her to get her hands in the dirt and work in her yard. Betty will be missed by all.

Survivors include her loving husband James (Jim) Brinkerhoff, her little dog Gibson; two daughters: Adrienne Degott (Hunter) of Glasgow, and Rita Peterson (Bryan) also of Glasgow; four grandchildren: Aubry Degott-Smith, Ada Smith, Gage and Deegan Peterson. Betty was the third of seven children; Bobby Dean Ford (Sheila) of Liberty, KY, Tony Allen Ford (Leisha) of Stoner Creek, KY, Brandon Joe Ford (Brittany) of Columbia, KY, Laura Ann Young of horse Branch, KY, and Debra Sue Saltsman (Larry) of Vine Grove, KY; Sister in-law Carolyn Ford of Elkhorn, Ky, and a host of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her beloved brother Ricky Joe Ford on January, 29, 2022.

Betty’s wishes were to be cremated. There will be a celebration of Betty’s life scheduled at a later date, with a tree planted in her memory. Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home is assisting family with arrangements.
